FAQs
Do you actually use real artists?
Absolutely. We curate the artist best suited for your pet and desired art style. They hand-draw (digitally) an art piece, which is then used to create your pawtrait.
Do you have any best practices for taking photos for my pawtrait?
Yes! Here are a few tips to help you get the best photo from anywhere you have them.
• Get the picture of your fur baby close up (or crop it if the resolution remains good) so we can get a great idea of their unique details.
• Avoid pictures where your pet is laying down, try to get them either sitting or standing.
• Getting on their level to get to eye level is best. I know that is easier said than done for some, but trust us–it’s worth it.
• Lighting is really important. While natural light is ideal, a picture taken in a well-lit room will also generate great results.
Can you remove items in the photo?
Yes, as each order is drawn by hand, we able to to add/remove items in the drawing.
Please note: you will be required to order a preview for custom requests and be in direct contact with the Artist via email
How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders typically take 1-2 weeks to complete. As each portrait is hand-drawn, we work as quickly as possible without rushing the process. For special occasions, we recommend reviewing processing times and selecting express delivery at checkout. Please note, October–December is our busiest time of year. Domestic orders (within the US) are processed faster than international ones.
How can I get a refund for my order?
Due to the personalised nature of all of our products we are unable to offer returns. Your custom artwork is designed with care and is personal to the photo you provided and your pet. We are not able to accept returns or exchanges for made to order items
